Russia Declares "Regime Of Silence" To Allow Ukraine Evacuations

Russia will hold fire and open humanitarian corridors in Ukraine capital Kyiv and three other cities from 0700 GMT (12.30 pm IST) today, the Interfax news agency cited Russia's defence ministry as saying. Russia announced a ceasefire in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Sumy from 12.30 pm IST on Monday. The humanitarian corridors are being set up at the personal request of French President Emmanuel Macron, Russia's defence ministry said.
