Hours after he was arrested in Kolkata in connection with his student's suicide, the principal of La Martiniere School has been chargesheeted. He has been accused of severe physical thrashing. Three other teachers have also been arrested and charged with criminal assault and slapping. The police say there is no evidence of abetment of suicide by the principal or the other three teachers.
