The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supporters are holding on to hope and poetry as the National Democratic Alliance gained lead with vote counting at 25 per cent till 2pm. Mohammad Asim from Darbhanga, who was camping outside party chief Lalu Prasada Yadav's residence in Patna, conceded the RJD-led Grand Alliance should have done better, but added that coronavirus safety measures have slowed counting of votes. "If you remember, in 2015 as well, when Lalu Yadav ji was with Nitish Kumar, we gained ground later," he said ending with an impromptu poem on the "green lantern" illuminating Bihar.
