Rampant suicides haunt the Valley
Marred by militancy, the valley has a new cause to rue. With an alarming rise in the number of attempted suicides in the state, its a fresh worry for the local administration. A scooter-borne man was caught on camera while he was on a suicide mission in Srinagar. After an early morning ride he parked the scooter on Amirakdal Bridge in the heart of the city, before jumping into the Jhelum.
