A four-star resort in Puducherry was witness to the political drama of neighbouring Tamil Nadu as supporters of the ruling AIADMK protested outside the gates, demanding that 19 party lawmakers come out. The lawmakers moved into a luxury resort for the second time this year, sequestered again as a new game of numbers plays within the party. This time, the party's sidelined number 2 TTV Dhinakaran is trying to keep them together and away from the influence of Chief Minister E Palaniswami.
