The National Dam Safety Authority has given a damning report on the design, planning, management and operation of the Medigadda Barrage that is part of Telangana's Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, said to be the world's largest such project. This comes at a time when the Congress has targeted the state government and alleging shoddy construction. Speaking to Uma Sudhir, BRS leader KT Rama Rao says the report appears to be politically motivated.
