PM to flag-off Kashmir's first train today

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will today inaugurate the first ever train service in the Kashmir valley. The Prime Minister who is on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir had inaugurated a hydel power plant on Friday. Today, he will flag off the first train at Nowgam Railway Station. The train will initially run between Srinagar and Anantnag and later connect the valley to other parts of the country.
