Today, the south got its first Vande Bharat train. The train will be the slowest Vande Bharat Express in the country. The train can attain speed of 0-100 kmph within 49 seconds, and there is no need of loco re-mashalling unlike the conventional trains. Out of the 16 coaches, about eight coaches are powered. However when compared to Shatabdi express, the timings and you will reach probably 20 mins faster. Along with the Vande Bharat train, Karnataka received its first Bharat Gaurav train. More than 400 tickets were told on the first trip that will span for eight days starting on November 11 till November 18. The train will traverse through some of the iconic landmark locations like the Pragyaraj, Ayodhya and Varanasi.
