Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's announcement for a Rs 5,000 crore tunnel at Peer Ki Gali on Jammu and Kashmir's Mughal Road has been welcomed by the local populace in Shopian. The construction of the tunnel will make the Mughal Road an all weather road, connecting Kashmir valley to Jammu region's Poonch and Rajouri districts.
