"Happy To Be In 'Functional' Party": Ex-Congress Leader PC Chacko On NCP
Days after quitting the Congress, senior politician PC Chacko has joined the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party. At the joining event, he took a swipe at the Congress. "What we need is unity in the opposition, which I didn't see in my previous party... I am happy to be in a party that is moving in a direction, a party which is functional," he said.
