Odisha Braces For Cyclone Yaas, Top Government Officer On State's Preparation

Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra spoke to NDTV about the elaborate arrangements in place as the storm system Yaas heads towards Odisha-West Bengal coast. Senior IPS and IAS officers have been deployed in districts, a massive evacuation drive is underway, specialised personnel, including the 60 ODRAF formations and 55 platoons of armed forces, have been deployed, said Mr Mahapatra outlining the state's disaster management plans.
