Former ally Chirag Paswan's hatred campaign against Nitish Kumar has hurt every member of the Janata Dal (United) and Nitish Kumar, party spokesperson KC Tyagi said while talking about the Lok Janshakti Party chief's "jail is the right place" corruption attack on the incumbent chief minister. He, however, refrained from commenting if he would object to Mr Paswan's return to the fold if the NDA needs his support to form the government. "It is a decision that would be taken by PM Modi and Nitish ji. The Prime Minister has said on record that NDA exists in Bihar under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, whoever does not accept his leadership cannot be a part of the alliance," Mr Tyagi said.
