"My daughter wanted to come. But he would not let her leave as he feared we will file a police case once we come to know about the matter," said the father of Mandeep Kaur, a 30-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh who died by suicide in the US on August 4 after detailing her ordeal in a video.
