Mayawati Fends Off Bank Account Inquiry With Jab At BJP | Read

After the Enforcement Directorate launched an inquiry into deposits of old notes into the accounts of her party and her brother, Mayawati went solo to accuse the BJP of being "anti-Dalit". The chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party said "every penny" of the over Rs 100 crore deposited in the bank were party donations and asked the Prime minister to make the BJP's accounts public. Asked about her brother's Rs 1.4 crore deposited, she said he is an independent businessman.
