In New India, malnutrition is still a reality. At least in Madhya Pradesh. Last year, NDTV exposed how the Madhya Pradesh government's nutrition programme has been marred by shocking levels of corruption, leaving thousands of children malnourished and costing taxpayers crores of rupees. A detailed study shows that be it the Congress or BJP, no one has shown much interest in the questions related to malnutrition or the welfare of women and children in the state.
