Makeshift Boat Ferries Patients To Hospital In Flood-Hit Assam's Silchar
The flood-levels may be slowly receding in Assam but it will take a long time for things to return to normal. The fallout of these horrific floods of the last week are being felt across the state but in Silchar, the worst-hit, a makeshift Outpatient Department or OPD had to be set up to administer medical treatment.
