West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called for an all-party meeting on the issue of the state's foundation day celebrations that was initiated by the Union government in an advisory to Raj Bhavans across the country. The Trinamool Congress opposed the date chosen by the Centre and called the meet to discuss the issue.
