Ladakh Protesters In Delhi To Demand Statehood
Demands for statehood and sixth schedule status for Ladakh echoed at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, with well-known innovator Sonam Wangchuk joining ranks with groups raising the demands. Wangchuk, who became popular as the inspiration behind movie 'Three Idiots', said his fast in Ladakh was not taken note of by the government, and hoped that the protest in Delhi would make them listen to their demands.
