In the past few months, tragic stories of how little children have lost their lives by falling into abandoned borewells have made headlines. According to statistics five children die each day in open borewells or drains. The maximum number of deaths has reported from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. How long will it take before the government wakes up and takes action? Through this week, NDTV focuses on this burning issue.
