US President Joe Biden has defended the rapid withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan as the country appeared increasingly at risk of spiraling into civil war. He said the US military mission in Afghanistan will conclude by August 31, earlier than initially announced. This as, the Taliban claims that it now controls 85 per cent of Afghan territory. NDTV's Parmeshwar Bawa reports.
