Hit by unrest for the last six months, Jammu and Kashmir is now home to an enterprise that hopes to present a new side of life in the valley. A 32-year-old resident of Kashmir, Tariq Bhat, has launched the valley's first 'mobile television station'. Called 'Asian News Network', the channel was launched two months ago when violence and protests in the state following the killing of terrorist Burhan Wani was at its height. Distributed as a smartphone app, it already has over 79,000 downloads till now, the developers claim.
