PM Modi today commissioned INS Vikrant, India's first home-built aircraft carrier, in a grand ceremony at Cochin Shipyard. The 45,000-tonne warship has been built at a cost of ₹ 20,000 crore. Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "INS Vikrant not a mere war machine but proof of India's skill and talent. It is special, different. It is a testament to 21st century India's hard work, talent and commitment".
