In Samajwadi Party Stronghold, Akhilesh Yadav Goes Up Against Bhojpuri Star

Azamgarh, one of the constituencies going to polls today, is a stronghold of the Samajwadi party currently represented by the party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav. In this election, Azamgarh will see a contest between SP president Akilesh Yadav and Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua. A popular, film star, Mr Nirahua is a newcomer in politics. As a result, several people came to listen to him during his campaign. Whether or not his popularity translates into votes remains to be seen.
