In Madhya Pradesh, condom delivery becomes a cultural issue

In Madhya Pradesh, the government's condom drive seems to have hit a snag even before it could take off. The scheme was to be implemented in 17 districts where health workers in villages were supposed to deliver condoms and also had an option of charging for it. But most of the health workers are women and that has become an impediment. The government defends its pilot project and says it is misunderstood.
