Even as people in large parts of our country struggle for access to basic maternal and child health facilities, a doctor couple in Maharashtra's Naxal heartland, Gadchiroli, has come up with a healthcare model which has changed lives. Their interventions, acknowledged worldwide, have now formed a basis for the Centre's National Rural Health Mission.
