Hyderabad Geared Up For Ramadan, Crowds Throng Markets

Hyderabad is all geared up for Ramadan and people were seen thronging markets in large numbers to shop for the holy month. Mosques were lit up and people offered 'Namaz' on the first day of Ramadan. Security has been heightened in the city in wake of the holy month. This year Ramadan would be observed from March 23 to April 21, during which Muslims would observe fast from dawn to dusk.
