Haryana's Forest That Is Not Listed As A Forest

The Haryana government has begun the process of re-examining areas already officially declared as forests to see whether certain provisions of the land preservation act apply to them. This means, land that is preserved because it is a forest will be re-examined to see whether it is indeed a forest. Interestingly, areas that seem to fit the definition of forests are still to be called so.
