A severe hailstorm has been reported in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh leading to severe crop damage. Helpless farmers are now demanding aid and compensation as they say almost 50% of their entire standing crop has been destroyed. Four people have died in UP in the lightning strikes and heavy rains.
