Professor Obaidullah Wardak of Kabul University has resigned in protest against the Taliban ban on girls in universities. Mr Wardak told NDTV the ban on girls' education is unjust and it is not possible to sit and watch this injustice. He said he and many other faculty members are not happy quitting, but have no other option in the face of Taliban injustice.
