"G20 Hampered Due To Differences Over Ukraine War": UNDP Administrator

The UNDP administrator who was part of the G20 Finance Ministers meeting in Bengaluru has said it's not an ideal situation if a joint communique is not adopted highlighting the challenges for the Indian presidency. This after Russia and China objected to two paragraphs of the outcome document at Bengaluru referring to the Ukraine War. Achim Steiner said the G20 is being distracted and hampered due to differences but hoped that India would be able to provide a room for convergence by the time the summit takes place in September.
