Fresh Clashes In Manipur Ahead Of Amit Shah's Visit
It's been 25 days since ethnic violence first broke out in Manipur but the situation remains extremely fragile with more violence being reported from several parts Of the state. Villages have been abandoned as people have fled. On Sunday at least five people, including a policeman, were killed and 12 injured while the army claims to have arrested 25 heavily armed people in the last 2 days. Home minister Amit Shah arrives in the state tonight on a 3-day visit.
