In a hearing on Thursday, FBI Director Christopher Wray told a House panel that he's seen "the threat from foreign terrorists rise to a whole another level after October 7th," and he urged Congress to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, better known as FISA, before it expires on April 19. A bill that would do that was blocked Wednesday by a conservative revolt, leaving its approval uncertain as the deadline approaches.
