Politics over beef eating has become the central point in Bihar, which has just a week to go for the first phase of assembly polls. The BJP has launched an aggressive campaign in the state against Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad's remarks on eating beef. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has attacked the BJP for this.
