Delhi Cop Honoured After He Helps Labourer Find Lost Bag With Rs. 1 Lakh Cash

Delhi Commissioner of Police Balaji Srivastava on Tuesday honoured a cop - beat officer Constable Narender Kumar - for his honesty and sincere efforts. On June 30, Mr Kumar, while patrolling on the platforms of Shivaji Bridge Railway Station, found an unattended bag wirh Rs. 1 lakh cash, along with some personal documents. After a while he contacted the owner, a 54-year-old labourer, who had left it behind while boarding train. For the honesty and sincere efforts, Delhi Police presented Mr Kumar with a cash reward of Rs. 20,000. (Video credit: ANI)
