"Congress Has Forgotten Its Gentleman's Promise": AIUDF Chief Badaruddin Ajmal
On the day of the crucial second phase polls where polling is also taking place in five Lok Sabha constituencies of Assam, the Lok Sabha MP from Assam and the chief of AIUDF, Badaruddin Ajmal, has dropped a bomb shell. Talking exclusively to NDTV's Ratnadip Choudhury, Mr Ajmal claimed that he had a "gentleman's agreement" with the Congress to defeat the BJP, but the Congress is campaigning against him. "Congress had promised they will not put any strong contestants against my contestants. But they have forgotten their promise," Mr Ajmal said.
