There was a faceoff between the Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge and Union Minister Piyush Goyal in Rajya Sabha today. This was over comments made by Congress leader Sonia Gandhi about the judiciary. This comes after the Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday termed the remarks made by Ms Gandhi that the government is seeking to "delegitimise the judiciary" as "inappropriate".
