Climate Change Can Lead To Food Insecurity And Malnutrition: Deepali Khanna, The Rockefeller Foundation

Talking about the link between climate change and health, Deepali Khanna, Vice President, Asia Regional Office, The Rockefeller Foundation said, "As temperatures continue to rise, there is an increased risk of heat-related illnesses such as heat stroke and dehydration. Climate change can influence the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria and dengue fever." Ms Khanna said that nobody is immune to climate change and further elaborated on how climate change can impact food production and availability leading to food insecurity and malnutrition.
