A girl, studying in class VII, was allegedly attacked by a group of boys in West Bengal's Barasat, a town on the outskirts of Kolkata. A few people, who came to help the girl, were also reportedly beaten up. "There were five boys and they beat me up mercilessly. I have been bruised all over with injuries on my hand, abdomen and legs. I can recognise all of them," the victim said.
