On the last day of the four-day-long Chhath festival, devotees gathered on the bank of ghats across the country to perform the 'Usha Arghya' (prayers to the rising sun). Chhath puja is celebrated across a span of four days, and primarily in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh. In Delhi, devotees gathered at Yamuna banks, which has been in focus because of the toxic foam seen on the surface of the river.
