Chennai Top Cop Speaks To NDTV On Cannabis Crackdown, Custodial Deaths
The Chennai Police has launched a crackdown to cut not just the supply of cannabis but also to bring about a dip in its demand, says the Greater Chennai Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal. In an interview to NDTV's Sam Daniel, the senior police officer also talks on a range of issues from the recent gold robbery, custodial deaths to cycling lanes and innovation in policing including the drone squad, among others.
