A five-member central team, headed by joint secretary in the home ministry, has reached Hyderabad to assess the damage caused by rains and recent floods in Telangana. The visit comes after the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) criticised the Centre for not helping the state. NDTV's Uma Sudhir spoke to Secunderabad MP and Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy who said the TRS is playing politics over floods and blamed the state government for illegal encroachments.
