Blank Edit Columns, Call For Strike Over Journalist's Killing In Tripura | Read
After a journalist was shot dead allegedly by a paramilitary force personnel on Tuesday, the newspapers in Tripura's capital Agartala today published blank editorial columns as a mark of protest. The BJP and Congress have also called for a strike accusing the CPI(M) government in the state of failing to protect mediapersons. Two journalists have been killed in Tripura in the last two months.
