NDTV visits a small hospital in Shajapur in Madhya Pradesh where the midwife-nurses go far beyond their call of duty to try and save a mother and a child, while another mother writhes in pain as her baby struggles to come out. The doctors are too few and too overworked. These show how desperate surviving motherhood in India is.
