Is it the Supreme Court's duty to run BCCI? Did the Court know about the conflict of interest they were walking into when they set up a four-member committee to run India's most popular sport? On The Big Fight on Judicial Overreach, Senior Journalist Shekhar Gupta, taking an oblique dig raised this pertinent question since the person who is the CEO of National Stock Exchange (NSE) has also been given the charge to look after the finances of BCCI. The matter becomes even more complicated as all the franchisee owners have one or more of their companies listed on stock exchange.
