"Police Couldn't Shoot Back Amid Chaos": Atiq Ahmed's Lawyer On Gangster's Killing
Briefing on the shootout of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, his advocate Vijay Mishra said that the police couldn't shoot back at the attackers amid the chaos. "Police were taking them for medical check-up. Gunshots were heard when we entered the hospital. Police held the shooters immediately. They police did not shoot back as a chaos was created," Mishra said.
