Air Chief Arup Raha's 'Test' Flight In Tejas Fighter Aircraft

The IAF chief, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, today flew a trainer version of the indigenous Tejas light combat aircraft (LCA) over the city under a cloudy sky, an official said. "Air Chief Marshal Raha flew in a Tejas trainer (PV-6) for around 30 minutes to check its capabilities and landed safely at the HAL airport along with Group captain M Rangachari," IAF spokesman Wing Commander Anupam Banerjee told IANS.
