Technical glitches in issuing GST e-way bills have left the government with no choice but to look for another day to make the system compulsory for transporters. E-way bills are documents that transporters must carry while moving goods whose value is above Rs. 50,000 between states under the national tax introduced in July last year. The e-way bills are designed to check tax evasion.
