In one of the most desirable parts of IT hub Hyderabad, a land scam worth several hundred crores has been discovered, leading to the arrest of a government official and the directors of two real estate companies. 693 acres of government land in Cyberabad, the area that is home to top software companies, were illegally transferred to private companies over the last 5-6 years in exchange for large bribes, said investigators.
