Nearly 30 stray dogs were killed in Kerala's Varkala on Thursday morning by angry locals, a day after a 90-year-old man died due to dog bites. Charuvila Raghavan was bitten and mauled by a pack of stray dogs while he was asleep outside his house in Varkala, which is 45 kilometres from state capital Thiruvananthapuram.
