Report Says India Eliminated Extreme Poverty: Time To Redefine Poverty Line?

US-based think tank Brookings Institution recently published a study that claimed India has almost eliminated extreme poverty. The report, however, contradicts the numbers estimated by the World Bank, adding that those numbers were based on a privately provided data source.
